Could Not Determine Lotus Notes Version



We have implemented CRM 7.0 Groupware Integration with Lotus Notes (client 8.5). All working ok on normal desktops with Windows XP and Lotus Notes client 8.5. However in Windows 7.0 and Lotus Notes client 8.5 SOE (standard Operating Environment) it gives the message "Could Not Determine Lotus Notes Version" and bombs out. We have done a comparison between the PC environment and the SOE and found and eliminated the following as potential issues.

1. User id file paths are the same

2. All ActiveX settings are the same

3. Lotus Notes client versions are the same

4. Lotus Notes mail file paths are the same.

Has anyone experienced this/similar issue?
