NWBC 3.0 No content available. Please contact Admin

Hello,

I configured NWBC to connect to solution manager.

I am able to connect and navigate for existing users with existing rôles

Know i created a new user with a new rôle (just with some transactions + maintained + user comparaison)

and tried to get the same navigation as shown in the server configuration part of the NWBC guide.

But i get the following message :

"The user menu tree for user is empty. Please contact your system administrator"

But i can see the menu for the user in sapgui...

I have found threads speaking about uploading rôles to http://host:port/irj/portal

This path is not in SICF and the guide doesn't specify something particular

I use http://host:port/sap/bc/nwbc/ which is activated

Do you have an idea why the navigation tree doesn't work in NWBC ?

    Hello,

    I found this in the guide :

    But I don't have neither the report NWBC_SET_ADDITIONAL_ROLE_ATTR nor the sap internal tab in PFCG.

      Hello Yoav,

      I'm sorry, but we didn't solve the issue.

      May be someone else can give us some hints.

      We used it for a demonstration and so we let some standard rôles with some cockpits activated.

      We are still not able to control them like in the documentation...

    Hi,

    When setting up the connection in NWBC, please remember to fill in "SAP GUI Logon Description" with exactly the same content as you Description in eqvivilant entry in your SAPLogon.

    This could do the trick.

    Note: the Tcode where you have maintain the table DSWP_ROLES is SM30

    What I would suggest is that you continue login and yes your index tab will be blank. The index tab is new. If you however open a new tab, then you will see some information.

    To fix the index tab, you should probably change from the User Menu to SAP Menu (after updating dswp_roles in SM30) as Sudheer suggested.

    To change the menu type click on icon in upper left corner (NWBC 4.0) and choose Settings -> Personalize. Then be sure that option "Use SAP Menu instead of User Menu" is unchecked. This may help you see data when you log in.
