Is there any way to regenerate a Web Dynpro model (winthout loosing the biniding informations) after making changes to RFC Interfaces?
Hi Jake,
I am using WAS 6.3 SP2 Patch level 1.
Would you please confirm which version you are using.
Also do there is an option called "Regeneration of Models" in the version you were mentioning about ..
Thanks and Regards,
Sam Mathew

Guys,
There seems to be some good news. In the new Version when i recreated an existing model i was surprised to see the mapping information not lost. i.e. the mapping between model nodes at the View level to the model nodes at the Global Controller levels. Even the mapping information of the respective model attributes was not lost. On the other hand the moment i regenerated the model with a different model name, the data type information got automatically changed in the Model Attributes/Nodes to reflect the newly generated model.
However on generating the packages i got some error messages and i had to re-map the model nodes by recreating them with the help of the wizard but that was much more painless as compared to the sneak preview version.
