No authorization to create a message - STWB_WORK

Former Member

Trying to create a message from my test package in stwb_work.

Status Maintenance --> Messages --> Create Message.

I am getting an error No authorization to create a message.

I have SAP_ALL and all Service Desk roles. I tried running a trace but no objects are coming up in the analysis.

Any ideas?

Hi,

Are you able to create Support Messages using other ways?

NOTIF_CREATE or CRMD_ORDER?

Check if Badis AI_SDK_CRM_DNO_MON or CRM_ORDER_AUTH_CHECK have been implemented? They can define further security rules.

You have a valid business partner assigned, do you?

could you please check whether your user has got the Authorization

object with Activity: 01, 02, 03 and DSWP: IBase number: *

assigned?

This is necessary in order to be able to select an Ibase.

note: #808396 Authorization object B_NOTIF_IB for Support Desk

kind regards,

I have sap_all....

Even so, I tried adding this object and still no luck

In solution manager you need special authorization. Please active the trace and check the errors.

Check the sap note.

Assign SAP_NEW profile too.

when you get error message, type t-code /nsu53 and see what authorization is failing.

Hi,

Check SAP Note 872800 - Roles for SAP Solution Manager: SAP service provide

Check the authorization roles.

If don't work:

go to tcode ST01 and activate the trace. It's system wide for every user, so don't leave it on long.

Then do the action that is giving you the error and perform the tasks.

Go back to ST01 and turn off the trace.

Then go into the analysis of the trace. There's a button near the top to get to it.

Filter it on your user. Make sure you give it a proper date and time range to find the trace.

and paste log here.
