UI: Update

Hi,

is it possible to update datas from user-defined Tables which are displayed with SDK-UI without using DI?

It is possible to edit the datas but the new values are not committed in the dadabase.

quoting the SAP powerpoint presentation:

"UIAPI never updates..."

Therefore, if you want to update data, you always have to do this via DIAPI. (I think this is intended to force that programmers always use the business logic.)

There is no way I know to update via UIAPI. (It is GUI layer after all).
