Problem with External JARS

Hi,

We have an urgent situation which is described as under:

We have a session bean EJB using third party api packed in the form of JAR files to be

used in the Netweaver Dev Studio preview.

Using the normal procedures described in the tutorials we are able to successfully make use

of those external jars in our ejb and eventually publish an EAR archive out of that.

Would like to know the procedure for deploying such an EAR having dependencies on

third party jars.

.V

    Hi V.

you have to deploy it as a library, which currently doesn't work from the IDE (so use the deployment tool) A description hot to do this you can find here:

    http://help.sap.com/sapdocu/netweaver/webas/630/helpdata/EN/16/df813e77d46245e10000000a114084/frameset.htm

Then you have to reference your app in application-j2ee-engine.xml for that lib. That should work in IDE too (depending on your version).

    Regards,

    Benny
