Business Connector: How to handle errors on HTTP POST

Hi I want to be able to catch errors when I issue a HTTP POST to our partners system. At the moment the service is failing if fx the partners server is down and the document (order) needs to be manually re-posted (restore pipeline functionality... and all over again - not very userfriendly) my a user.

How to catch these errors and resend automatically? Help will be greatly appreciated.

Thx in advance

This is not really an ABAP question but as far as I know the BC doesn't support such a queueing mechanism and that has been one reason why we started to build XI. Maybe the Web AS or Exchange Infrastructure forum is a better place to ask.

    sorry,

    Dirk
