Attribute=columnCount does not exist

I try to work my way through the BSP extensions example in the WAS book, but when I insert a tableView into my app, I get the following error on activation:

<HTMLB:tableView>: (Attribute=columnCount) The attribute does not exist. (Compile time validation error).

Tag "tableView" contains invalid attribute values.

This error also show up when I try to activate/run one of the standard demo apps in my miniSAP 6.20 system. Is this an installation problem, or a known bug? I get the same thing when trying to test Brian's tableView Iterator application from the SDN devToday forum...

I'm on XP pro, with IE6...

    Hallo Trond,

    This forum is not really for error handling. We handle the "hwo to questions" here. Not the "what happenend?" 😊 But this problem is one of the worst mistakes we made (I did!) in a very long time. So I owe an answer here!

    You have SP24 installed. Please look at OSS note 621674. While you are it, I would also recommend OSS note 616900.

    bye, brian
