Home made logon page

Hello all

Is it possible in a BSP application to create a logon page similar to the logon page to SDN. That is userid and password integrated in the html page instead of the normal logon on pop up screen?

I have read about two function modules SUSR_INTERNET_USERSWITCH and SUSR_USER_INTERNET_CREATE. Are there any tutorials available showing how to use these functions?

Best regards

Thomas Madsen Nielsen

    Hallo Thomas,

    Yes, we can do.

    I would suggest that you first read, play, analyze and make to work our system logon application. It is slightly difficult in the first steps, as it requires a working SSO2 configuration. But once it work, you can easily customize it for different situations. (In 640 it will be improved with new features:).

    The 'system' application comes with the Web AS. Link to documentation below, also check note 517860. Specifically read the 20 page document attached to this note. There are a lot of information on how to test this, etc.

    As prerequisite, SSO2 *must* work. Check SYSTEM/test_sso2.htm page in newer SPs for a test page with instructions to verify this. Only after this work, will the system logon page work.

    Once you have all of this working, you can look at changing the HTML rendering. This is also described in the documentation.

    I'm searching for these files, but I can't find them. I want to create a Logon.html and a ChangePassword.html.

    Where do I find the examples described here:

    Hello all.

    Where in the BSP Application HTMLB_SAMPLES can I find the custom login application? I have been searching the BSPs but found nothing.

    My problem is to switch the user from default service user

    to another user using function module SUSR_INTERNET_USERSWITCH.

    After that I want to change into a private section using

    navigation->use_auto_submit_form( ).

    navigation->encode_parameters( '0' ).

    navigation->set_parameter( name = 'sap-user'

    value = username ).

    navigation->set_parameter( name = 'sap-password'

    value = password ).

    navigation->goto_page( '../private/private.htm' ).

    But in every case the login pop up appears.

    Best regards,
