Dear Experts,
We are activating Fund Management (PSM- FM) in our system. We want only commitment budget to be activated and no payment budget. So, the update profile we selected was 350- Separate PB/ CB Budget lines; standard since there was no other suitable option available. However, while posting MIRO invoice, FM document displays total 4 line items; 1 for Commitment Budget (Invoice) and 3 line items for Payment Budget (Invoice, Reduction and Payment).
Also, GR document displays 2 line items; 1 for Commitment Budget 1 for Payment Budget even if Payment Budget is not activated. Also, budget period for both budget types is required to be opened since not opening budget period of payment budget throws an error.
The issue is why all these line items are displayed even if only commitment budget is activated? Also, why are both periods required to be opened when only commitment budget is activated?
