pass parameters between diferents views

hi everybody,

we're trying to pass parameters between diferents views wich are in a main view,

but when we do that all the views are refreshed. we're thinking that it happen because the mvc architecture and the event handler work in that way.

how can we refresh a particular view inside a grid layout without repainting the rest of the page?

    Mario,

Views are just server side concepts. They are techniques to split rendering into smaller parts. In the browser there exists exactly one HTML page. At that level, there are no concepts of views.

In terms of rendering, of course complete HTML pages must be rendered back to the browser.

At the server side you can pass parameters easily into a view. All of this is well documented.

      Hello Brian,

thanks a lot for your response,

now i think i can understand better the BSP world, i'll try to play with application IT05 and sure i'll learn more. One more thing, i've doubt, are the BSP applications prepare to handle big web applications by themselves? or are they thought for small applications with one or two views? i say that because if all the application is one HTML page, and it's complex to use Delta handlig in it, all the accesses to DB have to be repeated each submit, maybe a big application could be too slow or maybe doesn't work efficientely.
