how to post from customer returnable stock to blocked stock

Hi,

we want to post materials from customer returnable stock to a blocked stock (e.g. Returns) using a delivery with ref. to a return order (vl01n). So a movement type is needed which reduces the customer returnable stock. Unfortunately 622 only posts to unrestricted use. I thought about making a copy of 622 and change it, but i don't know what I have to change exactly.

Can anybody help please?

Hello Kerstin

Like Raj rightly mentioned you need to use movement type 657. Movement type is determined from Schedule Line Category, so using T code VOV6copy standard Sched Line category (DN) to say ZN and configure movement type 657 within it. Then using Transaction VOV&, create a copy of standard Item cat REN to ZREN and then assign the new SL cat ZN to it. And assign the new item category ZREN to the return sales document RE or its copy.

thank you for the quick response. i tried 657, it posts to return but is not reducing the customer returnable stock.

do you have an idea?

so i need both reducing the customer ret. stock with posting to blocked.

Hi Kerstin,

For SAP standard Returns, 651 movement type is used. can you see if movement Type 657 will serve your purpose.
