Error displayed in BSP

Hi all,

In my application I would like to create a simple page like error.htm to display error catched into my global application.

I pass to this page a few attributes, like return code, tables with error messages and so on...

now in this page, what is the error process using htmlb library ?

Does exist a general process or a required process to display error in BSP ?

Best regards,

Personally I would not really do the work. Already we have error handlers installed, and also ICF and ICM has handlers installed to catch exceptions and write them out. In SP30 we have improved the layout of our error handler to be much more nicer 😊

If you want to do it, please again look at the properties tab of BSP. This is usually used for views. There you can define a new view as an error handler (it will get an exception object as input), or you can assign an error page to be called for each view.

Also, in ICF, it is possible to define general error handling page for total application. But I have never used it before.

In all cases, I would recommend that you also take the trouble to quickly check the documentation on this topic.
