Hello,
From my understanding of transaction TRIP, the employee can :
1) save the request : the standard WF 20000050 is triggered
2) approve it : no WF is triggered
is this right? In this case, we want to prevent the employee from approving the request, is this an authority check?
Please advise,
K.
Hi Karim,
For authorisations please check authorisation object P_TRAVL ([help.sap.com - P_TRAVL|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_erp60_sp/helpdata/en/b6/cda0db49e911d189060000e8322f96/frameset.htm])
It has been very long time since I last worked with Travel authorisation but I there is also another object called F_TRAVL ([help.sap.com - F_TRAVL|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_470/helpdata/en/ba/d48438ad5ff84ce10000009b38f842/frameset.htm])
By creating simple test role (if you are familiar of using Profile Generator - PFCG) and referring to above documentation about the objects you should be able to limit that requesting person can't approve own requests but if he/she is a manager can still approve other employee's requests.
Regards.
Saku

Hi Karim,
System is working as per standard and abs correct.
If you want Employee should not be able to approve his/her own Travel request, please enter the Travel request creator as excluded agent of the particular step.
Hope its helps you to meet your requirement!
Thanks,
Vaibhav
