Losing application context

I am currently expierencing a problem with an web application built on BSP on the WAS 6.20. On some client configurations the application seems to lose its context, probably the session as variables stored on the BSP application class are not available anymore to a particular user.

Since the Session ID is represented within the URL this behavior is IMHO not based on a cookie issue.

Does anyone have experience with this kind of problem?
