Which changes must be made to send an email from the "bsptutorialemail" by using the WinXP-IIS-SMTP-Server ?!

Thanx a lot for any information!

The mailing functionality of the Web AS has to be configured correctly. I've never done it but it is explained in the normal Web AS documentation and there should be no difference to a normal SAP system.

    Hello Oliver

If you find my posting from 30.11.2003 (last post date 01.12.2003) with the topic 'How I installed Mini Web..gine' , you will see how I installed my MiniWas on Win XP Pro and how I made sending and receiving mails possible.

    Best regards

      Hello Thomas,

thanx for your help, now I can send emails from Outlook Express, but while trying to send some from the a BSP-application I always receive an error message in the "Drop"-Folder that means that the message-transport to the recipient was not possible.

The problem also occurs when I try the "bsptutorialmail" application. Maybe it is because of the sendername ?

Do you know something about that problem ?

      Best regards,
