SAP J2EE Engine Administration problem

Hello,

I installed WebAS 6.3 Sneak Preview developer edition on Windows 2000 and it seems to work.

I'm following Tutorials for Sneak Preview and trying to launch the SAP J2EE Engine administration tool.

By launching the file <drive:>\usr\sap\C11\JC00\j2ee\admin\go.bat i get the error

"Registry key 'Software\JavaSoft\Java Runtime Environment\CurrentVersion'

has value '1.3', but '1.2' is required".

Any idea what could be wrong? your help is highly appreciated

Hi Marco,

very funny, as the tool of course also runs under jdk 1.3. But I think I got it.

Please check the bat file or post it here, as your engine and all the rest may get it's java version from a different place then the batch file.
