Layout options and Check boxes combination in OO ALV

Hi,

I have a requirement where the ALV output should show layout options in tool bar and have a check box to select & de-select rows.

I am using OO ALV. My code is working fine but for one particular user, if I include "VARIANT" for layout options, check box is not getting displayed. If i comment out IS_VARIANT and run for the same user, I can see the check boxes but only "CHANGE LAYOUT " option is displayed.

Is this because of any particular role assignment to the user? Please let me know what can be done to over come this.

Hi Sudheshna Bishoy,

this smells like authorization issue. Particular user may use Menu system->utilities->display last authorization check.

What do you see?
