Web Services with Java Classes

Hello,

in the online help included in the SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio Version Sneak Preview 2.0, you can read that only EJBs can be provided as Web Services. On the site help.sap.com, I found the information that both approaches are possible - with EJBs and Java Classes.

What is right now? I've failed to provide a Java Class as Web Service. Was anybody successful in doing this?

Thanks,

Iwan

    Hello Iwan,

with the Sneak Preview Edition you can only expose EJBs as Web Services. If you need to expose other Java components the recommendation is to use EJBs as Facade Beans and expose those as Web Services.

    Cheers
