Webdynpro Modelling without SAP System

Hello,

i tried to create a webdynpro application (with Dev Studio 2.0.0) that should

contain a model (Type 2: new data without sap invocation). The Help of Dev Studio tells me to choose RFC Import from the model wizard. But even if i do not need SAP I have to connect to a SYSTEM in that wizard. So Creating of a model of type 2 is currently not available.

Is there a workaround?

Greetings Ulf

    Hello Ulf,

the models that work in the Sneak Preview Edition are:

    1. Connecting to RFC (this means you have to connect to an SAP system)

    2. Connecting to a Web Service. Here you do not need an SAP system but a WSDL description of the web service.

    Greetings

    Karin
