Installation problem on "Start SAP J2EE Engine"...

Hi,

During the installation I get two errors:

1) Step "Start sap services"

I skip the first problem starting manually services... (I don't know if it's ok...):

I checked in event viewer but I can't find any information...

Then I started service SAPC11_01 and SAPOsCol manually without problems... and then I ignore the error...

2) Step "Start SAP J2EE Engine"

Installation continue up to step:

Start SAP J2EE Engine

The service start and then immediately stop:

"Instance JC00: Started"

"Instance JC00: Stopped"

J2EE engine JC00 of SAP System C11 didn't come up after 140 seconds: waiting for another 20 seconds.

In jcmon.exe.log:

command => Can't open shared memory administration (rc=3)

What can I do?

Hi Sam,

did you check your database is running? You can see this in the mmc. The db ayppears there with a coloured circlec indicating if it's running. This should happen automatically anyway. Did you have sapdb before?
