Import RFC Model

Hello!

I`ve installed the WAS 6.30 Sneak Preview and Netweaver!

Well, I want creating a Web Dynpro with help of the the Tutorial " Creating a Web Dynpro Application Accessing ABAP Functions", but when I come the the point where I have to "Import the RFC Model" and he wants the SAP Logon Informations this happens:

"Connect to SAP Gateway failed"

"Partner not reached"

I give in

Single Server

host name localhost

system number 00

client C11

logon name pl3uff ->as user in SAPMMC or I have to take another (admin)?

How can I ceate a user?

password ********

language DE

How can I reached the SAP DB to see, which tables or rfc are in??

I will very thankful if you can help me!

Hello Gerd,

The problem is, that you don't have access to a "real" SAP basis system as the sneak preview just contains the J2EE engine & the eclipse-based IDE. This was mentioned in the first prerequisite in the tutorial.

What you need is e.g. a minisap system (4.6D, WAS 6.10 or 6.20).
