WAS 6.30 and Installation of SAP Java Cryptographic Toolkit

Hello,

I tried to follow the the Administration Manual (see below) to install the Crytographic Toolkit which is necessary for the use of SSL.

"The SAP Java Cryptographic Toolkit contains the following files:

· iaik_jsse.jar

· iaik_jce.jar

· iaik_ssl.jar

· w3c_http.jar

The file iaik_jce.jar replaces the export version of the toolkit iaik_jce_export.jar.

Procedure

...

1. Unpack the SAP Cryptographic Toolkit package into a local directory.

2. Using the Software Deployment Manager (SDM), deploy the SAP Java Cryptographic Toolkit. Use the Remote GUI to connect to the SAP J2EE Engine and deploy the software packages.

3. Install the files on the Visual Administrator. Copy the files directly to the directory usrsapj2eeadminlib."

This did not work because the toolkit contains 4 jars, not a SDA that is requested by

the Software Deployment Manager (SDM).

Has anybody an idea how to deploy the Toolkit?

Greetings, Ulf
