Assigning profit center in material master

Hi All,

I am creating a sales order for material and and when I select this sales order in FB70 i want the profit center in the material master to default in the line items.

Where do I assign profit center for material master. In MM02 I do not find the field for profit center

HI,

PRCTR in material master is plant-dependent (it is a field of table MARC).

You can maintian it in Costing 1 view but nevertheless check if profit-center acconting is active, otherwise the field will not appear in any master data.

you may maintain profit Center in costing view1 or plant/storge location 2, if stock available not possible to change profit Center

Dear Anil,

Select sales General /Plant data view and you can update the profit center in General plant parameter.

check it...

Hi, in Sales orrg. view. You need to specify sales org. data to maintain PC. Also PC feld should be opened for material type
