I found a field of plant named WERKS in Cost Center Master Data table CSKC. Can you tell me what is reason of this field in this table. The field is not present in any screens of transaction KS01. And this field is empty for all records of table CSKS.
just looking on a ECC 60 system, there is no table called CSKC... But there is CSKS-WERKS, and it looks like this field is not in use (maybe it was used in very old SAP releases...).
unfortunately there is no real method to maintain the plant directly with the cost center. The field WERKS is since 4.0 in table CSKS, but up to now, there is no way to maintain it, and even less functionality tied to this field.
The only possiblity would be to use the user exit COOMKS01 which allows the use of addtitional fields.
