Testing the Message Mapping

Hi All,

I am mapping the ouput of a BAPI ( Shown Below)

(Mesage A)

I tried mapping the BAPI response message to Message type ?B?, but the same result.

What is the Mistake I am making ? We are using XI 2.0 SR1.

    Hi Mathew,

Ur Message mapping is incomplete. Its missing the mapping for the field:row.

U either map the field "row" to the header filed : Z_BAPI_PRODORDCONF_CREATE_HDR or any other new field in the source messageA. U can also assign a constant value for the field row.

The field "row" is mandatory if u use a complex structure type Resultset. If the name "row" is confusing for you, u change the XML schema to a different name (like "ProductionOrders")

Below is an example (text version) of how ur message mapping should look like:

    /resultset=/Z_BAPI_PRODORDCONF_CREATE_HDR

    /resultset/row=/Z_BAPI_PRODORDCONF_CREATE_HDR

    /resultset/T_TYPE=/Z_BAPI_PRODORDCONF_CREATE_HDR

    /T_TYPE /resultset/CONF_CNT=/Z_BAPI_PRODORDCONF_CREATE_HDR/CONF_CNT

For example I just mapped the row field to the header field Z_BAPI_PRODORDCONF_CREATE_HDR in the source messageA.

    Thanks

    Prasad
