Upgrade from 2.0 to 3.0

Hi there,

I'm currious to what extend upgrade will be possible from 2.0 to 3.0.

I suppose that introduction of the BPE will cause some problems in this area.

Hi Stef,

Upgrade from XI 2.0 till XI 3.0 will be possible. The introduction of BPM doesn?t affect the upgrade at all, as there was no such feature in productive usage for XI 2.0.

I am interested in this as well. Do you know of any Documentation on this at all ? or at least any description of what will be provided and how it will work.

It is still too early to get the documentation. When the XI 3.0 starts at the end of Q1, 2004, we will have them available.

Does anybody have experience with an XI-upgrade from 2.0 to 3.0?

What are the pitfalls? In what respect is 3.0 NOT backward compatible with 2.0?
