Passing Variables

I have a query variable in which I pass COST CENTER NODES from a standard hierarchy.

The node value is 123 however when it fills the user entry variable it displays as 1000/123

The controlling area is 1000 and it's compounded with Cost Center.  The query definition has a Filter on Controlling Area defined to 1000.

How can I get rid of this variable problem, as the query won't execute with "1000/123"

Thanks,

Peter

Note 502574 describes how you can generate authorization profiles in BW according to the settings in the R/3 costcenter hierarchy.

The generated profiles can also be used for a personalization of the queries according to the responsibility area of the user.
