Power function in Bex formula editor

Is there a way to calculate the following formula in Bex:

result = 3 to the power of ( KF1 )

where KF1 is a key figure.

If KF1 = 2, then result should be 9.

I can't see any functions in the formula editor to do this.

    Hi ,

    This sounds like it may be a consulting issue. If you are not able to obtain sufficient information from your fellow community members here, we recommend that you contact your consultant from SAP or its partners to get further advice.

    Keep in mind that such a function has no summability, so there is a fundamental problem of data aggregation. I mean: the problem is to establish "when" the calculation takes place.

    Yust suppose that with the characteristic you put in the query rows there are two values in the Fact Table 3 and 4, for KF1. There is a big difference in these results:

    result_after = 3 **(3+4) = 3 **7 = 2187

    result_before = 3 **(3) + 3 **(4) = 108

    Don't forget to point out this problem, and consider the possibility to "create" the result during Data Flow (Transfer Rule, Update Rule) and then to save it in your data target.

    Best Regards
