In portal you can configure logs using nwa. If log is configured upto basic level than all info, warning and many more things will be seen in logs, which will increase logs, so configure the log upto error only, and remove warning and info for each kind of logs. For this go to http://url :port/nwa ,,,over there monitoring>logs and trace>log configuration will be there,,,for this you need to have administration login previlage.
