RSRT Message management Options - BW 31C

In RSRT [BW 31C] transaction we can manage messages [supress warnings for generation, hierarchy, variables, etc]. Some of the messages have explainations in the system.

Is there any documentation on when these messages get activated. Just suppressing these warnings does not make any sense unless we are sure these are not affecting the reported data.
