Bex Analyser - Calculations on Total Levels

I am building a query which uses formulea on calculated key figures. I have a problem in that I want to report the calculated key figures at detail and total levels. I therefore need the formulae (not summation) to take effect on the total lines. I am having trouble making this work. It works fine at the detail level but on total lines I get summation and not the formula result.

I must be missing something!!

In your query, use "Formular Collision" option for the calculated key figure. That will work.

Did you try the option "Calculate Result as ..." in KF Properties?

There you find Maximum, Minimum, Counting, Average, Variance, First, Last, ...

    Hope it helps

My experience is that the totals use the formula to calculate. It will only sum the cells above if you change the "Calculate Results as" to Summation. Turn that setting to "Nothing Defined"

    I've got a similar problem:

Columns in the query are profit and profit-last year

Exception defined on profit is profit must be > 1000.

The columns are defined totals = totalling, this gives the correct totalling of the rows.

I want to calculate with a formula the index profit/ profit-lastyear and here it goes wrong at totals level.

in row level the index is calculated correctly.

I tried many things but nothing works.

    Who can give me help?
