Authorization on Executing Query

Hello to all,

i have created an authorization on company code and everything works fine when i use the value for which the user is authorized. But the problem is, that the user sees all company codes when searching via F4. I can't make the variable invisible, because some other users have multiple authorizations and may look at different company codes and therefore must be able to select via F4.

Is it possible that a user only sees the values of a master data info Object for which they have the authorization when pushing F4 in the selction screen

Hi Jörg,

have you tried authorization object S_TABU_LIN (as mentioned in OSS note 637692)? You should be able to authorize the F4-help via this object ..
