Currency in Excise not changing

Hi Friends,

I have a PO in currency USD but I am capturing the excise in J1iex the value is in USD but currency unit is showing as INR.

How can I change the currency from USD to INR or change the curency unit from INR to USD in J1iex.

Please help.

Sorry I was wrong in my previous reply.

Check values which you have posted in customs MIRO( i.e. Bill of entry)

Also make sure you have entered proper commercial invoice number & year in MIGO.

In which currency do you posted cusoms miro ?(Assuming you are doing import purchase)

Have you entered customs inv. no. & year correctly while doing goods receipt(MIGO) ?

If not currency will be in USD.

Why do you want to post excise document in USD?

You are paying duties in INR, your plant currency is INR. This is standard behavior of system.
