XML & File Upload

We are using EP 5 SP 5.

We would like to create an xml form that includes the ability to upload a document within it. I'm envisioning an upload into the same CM folder that the xml documents get saved in with a soft link back into the xml form.

Any ideas? Is this possible?

    Hello Jason,

sorry, I think in SP5 it is not possible.

In the upcoming version EP5 SP6 (or in EP6), there will be the possibility to use an item picker.

With this item picker you can choose a document which must be stored in the repository.

With that picker, it is not necessary to type in the path of the document (item) directly.

If the document is not stored in the portal, you can use the item picker (which is started from the

XMLFroms Edit form) to upload a file into a predefined folder.

If you want you can display the path of your document in the ShowForm as a link. So if you

click to that link, the document will be opened.

    With kind regards
