How to Duplicate Document series

HI All

I defined the document series for incoming pmnt .. under which there are sevral numbring series .. with different series name ....

how can i duplicate the series name ... when i m giving the same series name it gives the error duplicate series name .....

Series can not be duplicated. If you want it so you can give Series1, series2 like that

The last series which i defined was end now i want the same series name ... actually some one before me did that so the client is asking the same one ... is there any way to do that ..

Example :

Series defined previously

series name first No Next No Last No

ABC 1 1 2000

NOW i want to create

series name first No Next No Last No

ABC 5000 5001 7000

Under Incoming payment series This need to done

Hi.......

I checked it and its giving me the same error as you are getting and your last consultant might have done some backend changes in order to modify the series and which is not correct.

Hi Sri,

Series name is unique in SAP.You can't create with duplicate series names. If u want the old series name for current series, rename the old series and create a new one with the desired name.

Your question is not very clear. Are you trying to create the same series name more than once. I don't think that is possible.
