KM UI folder information

Hi, does someone know how to retrieve the UI settings of a folder and set it to another folder ? Via API's of course !

I'm running EP5 SP5.

Hi Xavier,

currently (both in EP5.0 and EP6.0), there is no API that allows to retrieve the UI setting for specific folders and apply it to other folders. We have this requirement on our list for future development but not statements about scope and availability can be made at this point in time.

An EP6.0 enhancement re. the KM UI is the release of the respective APIs ('Flexible KM UI API') with EP6.0 SP2. It allows you e.g. to insert your own commands into KM UIs or program completely flexible UIs for KM (in EP5.0 and EP6.0 (< SP2), a UI adaptation could only be achieved in a limited way by using KM UI configuration means).

If this could be in the scope of your project, it might be beneficial to involve SAP PSO into it for an easier start.
