SSO with ADS on an only ABAP system

Hi,

We have an ABAP only stack (CRM) and we wish to activate SSO with ADS (Active Directory Service).

Can this be done with Kerberos?

To my knowledge, this is not possible without a SAP Java stack.

I think that SAP could have implemented Kerneros authentication easily on the abap stack but that they decided not to do it to "force" their customers to use the SAP portal...

Thanks..but this talks about the JAVA engine.

I have an ABAP only system on Win 2008.

I know SSO with the Active Directory can be done for SAPGUI with Win 2000/2003..but not so sure about 2008.

It should be described in SAP note 935644 but it's in reworking at this moment.

A step by step guide exists from SAP to setup for Abap.
