JDBCConnection via iView

I try to make a database-connection through the wcm-database via an iview. the problem is, that i don´t know how to use the jdbcconnections. i already found the needed classes and also the jdbcconnectionpool of the portal, but there aren´t any examples that maybe useful for the iview.
