FileNet Integration

i have some questions about the integration of FileNet inside EP6.0:

1. Is there a repository manager for FileNet available?

2. Is the BP for EP 5.0 also usable in EP 6.0?

3. Is SSO to FileNet provided?

kind regards,

    Hi Marco,

FileNet is currently in process of developing a Rep. Mgmt. as one of two piloting partners (the 2nd one is IXOS). SSO is also in scope of this connector. Projected (not confirmed !) date for a first version is end 2003.

As soon as BP for FN runs on EP6.0 as well, this will be published on iViewStudio.

    Hi Marco,

    ad 1:

Repository Manager for FileNet P8 is in place and has been certified (for the functions it provides e.g. read-only, search and read-only KM services work, no security check, no active subscription, etc.) by ICC. Not yet published on iViewStudio (this is expected shortly).

    ad 2:

Business Package for FileNet has not been certified on EP6.0 if not mentioned otherwise on iViewStudio. EP5.0 BPs might ⚠️ work on EP6.0 as well (but this has not been re-certified by SAP at the current point in time and, hence, it is FileNet's responsibility to state this).

    ad 3:

User mapping to FileNet should work (not sure about tickets).

Contact at FileNet for these matters (as they own the intellectual property for their code): Mr. Kai Lunke (
