Hi Manuel,

from a functional perspective:

EP KM: Platform to bring various repositories under one umbrella (plus its own content store)

KW: training / documentation

Rec. Mgmt: bundling of various documents into one record

KW and Rec. Mgmt. are ABAP based, EP KM is JAVA based so this could also be something for guidance (depending on your landscape / technical skills).

What is your scenario ?

Cheers,

Joerg

Hi Joerg,

we have different documents (training, help, guidelines, document-templates,...) that we would like to make available close to the (non) R/3 transaction in a process-based view.

we are already using KW, the customers like the versioning (content, language, format on one LOIO) but hate the different and difficult non-web editing-frontends and the strategy of sap is not clear on KW - some people say 'yes it is further supported and developed' and others say 'if you can choose, use EP-KM'.

best regards,

manuel
