XML Forms Builder - data source

Hi,

I'm trying to locate data stored by a publishing form created with XML Forms Builder, EP 5.0.

We would like to implement automatic expiry date, and I was thinking of creating an ASP page that would read XML data, and display only the itmes that are not expired (the XML form is created with ExpiryDate field).

I searched text files on the portal drives, and also the databases TTPSys and TTPRep, and could not locate where the data is stored.

Does anyone knows where the XML files reside or how to get to them?

Rob

    Hi Rob,

When you create the iViews to create and display the forms you specify where the XML data files reside.  In the "Java" tab of the iView there is an entry "Path to Content Folder" which specifies this. The initial one seems to be "/document/news" in the KM Admin repository.

    Regards

    Jon

    Hi Rob,

Maybe, it is a better approach to write a service that moves the news items physically in an archiving folder after they passed the Expiration Date.

If not, your page will take longer and longer to display (depending on the amount of items in the news repository)...

    regards,

    Stefan
