Hi,
I have the following scenario at a customer site and need your help.
Doc 1 is the parent document. Docs 2 and 3 are childs (related to it in their content). 2 and 3 are already uploaded and indexed. They already have an internal path. When Doc 1 is uploaded, I'd like to have a metadata link field that has a browsing UI to
point and select Doc 1.
Then, again, select Doc 2.
Now, once done,
When looking at Doc 1's properties it will have 2 links and will make
doc 2 and 3 just a click away.
the metadata fields does have a URL type field but it does not give
any browsing UI...
Thanks,
Tuval
Hi Tuval
I think I might have found a workaround for you...
When you design your profile template for your repository please define
a HTML attribute , it means that you can edit html as a property for your document.
when you do that you'll have a link button for KM repositry.
I myself never tried it, but you're welcome to test it...
may the force be with you
