KW 5.2 and SAP DB archive mode

Hope this it the correct place for this.

I have installed the KW 5.2 and am about to load the content DVDs. The first thing I am asked to do is to make sure SAPDB (on the KW server) is set to DEMO mode (ie no archive logs are created. Also we need to turn off archiving on the SAP basis system (this is oracle so we can do that easy).

Can anyone tell me how to check the archive mode on SAP DB?

Also how can I set it to DEMO (ie no archiving).

is there any documentation on this?
