Deliver ITS IACs via SAP Portal

Am attempting to incorporate the SAP portal theme into an ITS IAC. Having read the documentation on Theme Generator for the ITS (Portal Administration), and OSS note 607843, it is not clear whether the IAC templates have to be developed as WebGUI, Classic or Business HTML.

If anyone has managed to do this, and could enlighten us on the steps taken, I will really appreciate it.
