MDM5.5 SP05 upgrade to MDM7.1 SP02

Hello All,

We need to upgrade our MDM5.5 SP05 to MDM7.1 SP02.

I know the following steps :

1. Archive the repository in MDM 5.5

2. Install MDM 7.1

3. Create a new repository by unarchiving

4. Update the repository

5. Verify and repair the repository

Problem is we have a lot of batch jobs where there are UNIX scripts running for the syndication purposes.

Syndications are controlled by certain commands written in UNIX, for an example if the syndication server has got some issues, then these commands make sure that the syndication server is working fine and also if certain batch jobs do not run in time then it invokes some other job to run so that the syndication is carried out successfully.

Also there are certain massaging of the syndicated files by certian UNIX scripts which does the post-processing.

Now how to proceed.
