Oracle Client Installation for EP5 SP5

Dear all,

I installed Oracle Database Client exactly as described in the Manual.

Right after installing the Database Client, I proceeded to install Enterprise Portal (Portal Platform)

Within minutes the installation terminates with an error message "Oracle Client not found".

I have reinstalled Oracle Client since then, and I have also executed TNSPING to ping the DB Server.

How do I verify that the Oracle Client installation that I have installed is good ?

The Database Server has been installed on another machine and is up and running with no errors.

Anyway to check and troubleshoot an Oracle Client installation.

Any help and pointers welcomed.

    Hallo Wai H Lam,

    there is a pdf document on sdn called "Unifier for Oracle Applications" - it describes how to set up an Oracle Unifier.

    Your question about which OraClient Version (you need Oracle 8 or 8i client or higher).

    I just read you posting. Maybe this comes too late and you already found the answer yourself.
