creating iview using jbuilder

hai friends

i installed the development of iviews environment in my system(jdk,tomcat,pdk and jbuilder and the patches wizard to jbuilder and doc to the jbuilder)

i got the front welcome page with this url(http://localhost:808/irj/servlet/prt/portal).

when i tried to customize the iview using the jbuilder it shows me error. and it does not allow me to get the create wizard.

Errors:

package com.sapportals.htmlb.page does not exist at line 5 (5:34)

package com.sapportals.portal.htmlb.page does not exist at line 6 (6:41)

cannot resolve symbol: class PageProcessorComponent in class com.sapportals.pdk.workshop.SimpleMessage at line 8 (8:36)

cannot resolve symbol: class DynPage in class com.sapportals.pdk.workshop.SimpleMessage at line 10 (10:12)

cannot resolve symbol: class SimpleMessagePage in class com.sapportals.pdk.workshop.SimpleMessage at line 11 (11:13)

how to rectify these errors. (i understood that the some of the files are not liked)

help me in this.

    I think you simply forgot to reference EP libraries in your JBuilder(which version?) project definition.

    Anyway Jbuilder 5 is no longer supported. Use Eclpise and SAP EP Eclipse plugins from PDK.

    Hi Gowri shankar,

    I have just started on my Enterprise portal work. I installed WEB AS 6.4 and we have protal environment. When i log into our Portal, i could see no place in Portal where i can create iViews. Also, in Web AS forntend, i could see no place to create iViews. In WEB As, there is a way to create WebDynpros. But, where should i start with for creating an iView? Do i need all other softwares as you mentioned in your email below, like Tomact and jBuilder for creating iViews?
