Copy Custom field data from Support Ticket to Change request


Hi Experts,

We have created a Service Desk Scenario with custom Transaction types ( Support Message, Normal Correction etc). We have introduced 2 custom fields ( Country, Ticket Type) in the "Additional Info/Custom Field" TAB.

The custom fields tab is working fine. We followed the details given in the blog :-

Now we have a requirement to create a "Change request Support Ticket" based on the Support Message created for ZLFN transaction type. The steps to do the same is open the support ticket & enter subject as "Change request for support ticket" & then click on ACTION => CREATE CHANGE REQUEST.

When this is done, we want all the custom data of those custom fields to flow from Support ticket to Change Request/Normal correction.


How do we achieve this ?
