profitability segment - sales Order level

Dear All,

I have created new sales area and try to create a sales order through the new sales area. when i click on the profit.segment button in the sales order, some of the data would not pass to profit.segment. (Ex :sales office, customer group,sales district, sales group ) this happen only for newly created channel and if i created a sales order for some other channel, it will pass all the relevant data to profit.segment.

it would be great help if some one can explain the reason for data does not get updated in profit.segment.

hi,

you are requested to check the derevation rule in COPA configuration for distribution channel.

or

give me the error message number with its description on the same

Thanks for replay. i have already checked the derivation rule for distribution channel. its already configured.

Actually i dont get any error msg. but some information (sales office, sales distric) does not get updated in profitability segment(sales order level)

Hi there

Please check whether the source of the derivation, i.e. Sold to party has in fact got those characterics filled in TRY with XD02/03 for both sales areas and note any differences.

I have checked the source of the derivation rule and compared with the customer master. same information used in source of the information and Cx.

VKGRP Sales Group

VKBUR Sales Office

BZIRK Sales District

please check and confirm.
